The 3 puppies, Dylan, Florence and Zebedee are the survivors of a litter of 5 born on August 16th 2010. Their siblings, Dougal and Ermintrude sadly didn't get the opportunity to give joy to their owners to be or enjoy the pleasures that being a dog can give. Mum Kiva, TabanyaRuu Hyppia, is doing a fabulous job of raising her furbabies - Dylan is the biggest, Florence the smallest - yup, Zebedee is the one in the middle.

The mighty Fraser River flows down the middle of the wide, fertile Fraser Valley, and by the very nature of its broad deep, muddy girth, forces travellers to choose either its north or south side. In the North Fraser Valley, along the Pitt and Fraser Rivers, is the town of Port Coquitlam, the geographical centre of the Lower Mainland.
Port Coquitlam is located on either side of the Lougheed Highway (Highway 7), offering easy westbound access to downtown Vancouver 30 kilometres away - 30 minutes by road or 40 minutes by commuter rail - and easy eastbound access to the rapidly developing Fraser Valley. Almost all of the fertile land in the valley is rural, supporting a blend of farming, forestry and outdoor recreation. Port Coquitlam's central location and unique setting produces a truly exceptional living and recreational environment.
Port Coquitlam is bounded on the south by the Fraser River, on the east by the Pitt River, on the north by the picturesque Coast Mountains, including Burke and Coquitlam Mountains, and on the west by the Coquitlam River. The difference between the Fraser Estuary and the Fraser Valley is that the mountains are much closer to the towns of Port Coquitlam (also called PoCo) and its neighbour, Coquitlam. Here at the northwestern end of the Fraser Valley a feast of eye-catching peaks rises up on both sides of the little prairie that the dikes protect from seasonal floods. From the lower valley at Port Coquitlam, the mountains climb steeply to elevations in excess of 1,500 metres.
The name Coquitlam comes from the Salish word 'Kwayhquitlum', meaning red fish in the river, referring to the river抯 annual salmon spawning run. The city was incorporated in 1913, after the Canadian Pacific Railway Company had moved its freight operations from Vancouver to Port Coquitlam two years earlier. Ninety years later, the rail yard is the largest CPR yard in British Columbia.

Beaver Lake History and Activities
Beaver Lake in Northwest Arkansas is one of several lakes created by the dams built by the Army Corps of Engineers along the White River. Finished in 1966, Beaver Lake Dam is the first in the chain and is responsible for creating a lake some 28,000 acres in size. With 487 miles of shoreline highlighted by limestone bluffs, Beaver Lake offers a world of recreational opportunities including camping, hiking, boating, water skiing, swimming, scuba diving, birding and fishing. Smallmouth bass fishing, largemouth bass fishing, and striper bass fishing are among the favorites and have provided many trophy catches, but you'll also appreciate the plentiful supplies of crappie, bream, white bass, channel and spoonbill catfish.

Eureka Springs is a city in Carroll County, Arkansas, United States, one of the two county seats for the county.It is located in the Ozark Mountains of northwest Arkansas. According to 2006 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the town is 2,350.[2] The entire town of Eureka Springs is on the National Register of Historic Places as the Eureka Springs Historic District and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Arkansas.
Eureka Springs is a unique Victorian resort village in Carroll County, Arkansas which has its own culture and lifestyle. The city has steep winding streets filled with Victorian-style cottages and manors. The old commercial section of the city has an alpine character, with an extensive streetscape of well-preserved Victorian buildings. The buildings are primarily constructed of local stone and lie along streets that curve around the hills and rise and fall with the topography in a five-mile long loop. Some buildings have street-level entrances on more than one floor. The local Catholic Church boasts a street-level entrance to its bell tower. Eureka Springs has been selected as one of America’s Distinctive Destinations by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Most of the stores and shops in the commercial district are locally owned and managed. They consist primarily of specialty shops featuring local crafts, antiques, the works of local artists, and standard Ozark tourist fare. The downtown area also features various coffee shops and sidewalk cafés. The town has more than 20 art galleries in the downtown area. The city maintains a trolley service providing transportation around town for the tourists who visit the town.
The city hosts the 7-story tall, 2 million pound, white concrete statue of Jesus known as the Christ of the Ozarks, erected privately in 1966 as part of a planned religious theme park. The statue sits across the valley from the downtown area and is visible from most parts of the lakes and rivers in the immediate area. The city is home to The Great Passion Play. The play is “America’s #1 attended Outdoor Drama,” according to the Outdoor Institute of Drama at Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Celebrating its 40th season in 2008, the play will welcome its 7.5 millionth visitor.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not has noted numerous details about the city: The Basin Park Hotel is built on a hill, so that people can enter from ground level at all eight stories. The Palace Bath House has the first neon sign west of the Mississippi River. Penn Memorial Baptist Church connects to three different streets at three different levels and has three addresses. St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church is the only church that is entered through the bell tower. The town’s winding, hilly, curved streets form 16 “S’s”, a large “O”, and numerous “U’s” and “V’s,” yet the town has no perpendicular street crossings.
It is home to one of few outdoor staircases not attached to a street that is considered a street by the United States Postal Service.[citation needed] Having no level spot in town large enough for a rodeo, circus, or baseball diamond was another fact that Ripley included. (A stadium was built in 1948 after an area had been made level enough, but this was torn down and an athletic field, known as Van Pelt Stadium, was built in the 1980s).

But last week she was stung by a bee and has been avoiding her room since then. Today she is camped out in this closet. That seems to be where she wants to lay down when she is not outside playing. This is Dillie's bedroom. If she is not up in her bed, she may be playing in other areas of the house or outside grazing and playing. It is Spring, and Dillie loves to play out in the yard in the morning and late afternoon. Dillie is a very special animal whose visual impairment, farm bred background, and bonding to her adopted family has made her completely tame and adapted to the house. There is no other deer that we would ever recommend be kept as a pet like this . In other words, don't try this at home! Dillie wears a "Zoombak" GPS tracking collar to protect her.
